Abstract
This subzonobiome includes Tibet and the Pamirs. Often referred to as “the roof of the world”, this region is the highest and most extensive mountain plateau in the world. It is bordered to the north by the Kunlun and Nanchan Mountain ranges and to the south by the Himalayas, the highest mountains in the world.
