Zusammenfassung

Eine Unterfunktion des Nebennierenmarks ist so gut wie unbekannt und kommt selbst bei beidseitiger Adrenalektomie nicht vor (9). Offensichtlich genügt die Katecholaminbildung in den chromaffinen Zellen des sympathischen Nervengewebes, so daß weder in Ruhe noch im Streß Mangelsymptome auftreten.
