Zusammenfassung
Die Mikroinjektion gelöster Substanzen in tierische Gewebekulturzellen sowie in Oocyten hat in den letzten Jahren weite Verbreitung gefunden. Mit Hilfe dieser Methode kann man rasch und mit großer Ausbeute biologisch wichtige Makromoleküle wie z.B. DNA, mRNA oder Proteine, oder auch kleinere Moleküle wie Hormone oder Salze in den Zellkern und in das Zytoplasma einbringen, ohne die betroffenen Zellen zu schädigen. Von der Fülle der sich daraus ergebenden Anwendungsgebiete soll in diesem Kapitel nur auf einen Teilaspekt näher eingegangen werden: die Analyse von Zytoskelett-Strukturen durch Mikroinjektion von Proteinen ins Zytoplasma von Gewebekulturzellen.
