Zusammenfassung
Die Struktur der Hardware und Software des Mehrprozessorrechners MPR 1300 wird beschrieben. Die Vorteile der Struktur aus parallelen, gleichberechtigten Prozessoren, die über vier Busse auf den gemeinsamen Speicher zugreifen, werden diskutiert. Über einige Probleme und ihre Lösungen bezüglich der Organisation der Prozessorvergabe, der Synchronisation, des Interruptverhaltens und der Fehlertoleranz wird berichtet. Der erzielte Durchsatz in Abhängigkeit von der Zahl der Busse und der Prozessoren wird vorgestellt.
