Eine von Chlamydia trachomatis, Serotypen D-L3, verursachte Gruppe von Infektionskrankheiten vorwiegend der Genitalregion, die 2 klinische Bilder umfaßt: das Lymphogranuloma inguinale (Serotypen L1-L3) und eine in Symptomatologie und Komplikationen der Gonorrhoe vergleichbare aufsteigende „oculogenitale“ Epithelinfektion (Serotypen D-K).
