Abstract

The question of “need and supply” in the field of psychiatric care has increasingly stimulated epidemiological research in the past decade [e.g. 4], while at the same time the main focus of attention in treatment has gradually shifted from hospital-orientated (“institutionalism”) towards community-orientated care (“rehabilitation”).
