Zusammenfassung
Das biologische Verhalten der Kalziumphisphatwerstoffe unterscheidet sich grundsätzlich von den Interaktionsprofilen der Implantatmaterialien auf Metall-, Oxidkeramik-, Kohlenstoff- oder Polymerbasis (Osborn u. Newesely 1980). Von den Kalziumphosphatkeramiken — dazu gehören Trikalziumphosphat-, Hydroxylapatit- und Tetrakalziumphosphatkeramik — entspricht störiometrisch und kristallmorphologisch nur Hydroxylapatitkeramik der physiologischen Mineralsubstanz des Knochens (Osborn u. Newesely 1980).
