Return to Work After Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery in Comparison with Medical Treatment
In 1977 we conducted a first study involving all patients with coronary heart disease treated in our hospital in 1975 and 1976. A second study was done in 1983 with another cohort of patients, admitted for treatment in 1981 and 1982. We were looking for differences in working status between medically and surgically treated patients, as well as for differences over the years.
