Revision of Infected Total Joint Replacement: Swedish Experiences
In 1978, our group reported in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (Carlsson et al, 1978) on the result of revisions with gentamicin containing bone cement of 77 infected total hip arthroplasties. We still follow these patients and in 1983 a new review of their situation was made. In this report the results of the last review will be described and some other experiences discussed.
