New Developments in Caval Filters

Abstract

In patients with recurrent pulmonary emboli, placement of caval filters is a well-established beneficial procedure. This is particularly true in patients who cannot be anticoagulated. Among the various filters, the Greenfield and Mobin models are most widely used.
