Wie auch die anderer. Abdominalorgane wird die Leber sonographisch mit einem Real-time-Gerät untersucht. Als Transducer bevorzugen wir einen Sektorschallkopf mit großem Sektor. Das Cornpoundverfahren hat nur noch zwei Indikationen:

    Darstellung ausgeprägter Hepatomegalien.

    Demonstrationszwecke.
