Zusammenfassung

Seitdem im Dezember 1942 Lindskog an der Universität von Yale erstmals einen Patienten mit einem weit fortgeschrittenen Lymphosarkom mit Stickstofflost behandelte und eine kurzfristige Tumorrückbildung erzielte, ist die Zahl der in der Klinik eingesetzten Zytostatika erheblich angestiegen (s. Abb. 1).
