Psychiatric Aspects of Klinefelter’s Syndrome in Adolescence

Abstract

Adolescence is the period in development which succeeds childhood, ends with maturity, and thus extends over nearly 10 years. Commonly, the middle stage of this period, lasting from the onset of puberty to the age of about 18, is referred to as adolescence. In view of considerable individual variations in the timing of the stages, in this chapter the broader definition will be adhered to.
