Zusammenfassung

Die kombinierte abdominoperineale Resektion ist das Standardverfahren in der operativen Behandlung des rektal tastbaren Karzinoms oder wenn das Karzinom kurabel erscheint, jedoch so nahe am Beckenboden sitzt, daß darunter kein Sicherheitsabstand von 5 cm erhalten ist [7, 13, 15, 18, 21, 24]. Das Verfahren wird auch bei sehr großen villösen Adenomen, selbst wenn sie gutartig sind, oder als Teil der Proktokolektomie wegen einer Colitis ulcerosa oder familiären Polyposis durchgeführt. Die Klassifizierung und Prognose des Rektumkarzinoms wurde in Kap. 6 besprochen [1, 8, 9].
