Polypöse Veränderungen des Dickdarms

Zusammenfassung

Bei der Behandlung polypöser Erkrankungen des Diekdarms tragen derzeit Radiologe, Endoskopeur und Chirurg gemeinsame Verantwortung, es sei denn, der Chirurg versieht seine Endoskopie selbst. Im allgemeinen werden einzelne gestielte Polypen oder gleichartige in verschiedenen Darmabschnitten verstreute Polypen endoskopisch polypektomiert. Kleine breitbasige Polypen werden in gleicher Weise behandelt. Sowohl bei Patienten mit großen breitbasigen Polypen oder karzinoma-töser Entartung eines Polypen als auch bei multiplen Polypen oder familiärer Polyposis besteht die Indikation zur Operation. Manchmal ist ein einzelner Polyp aus irgendwelchen Gründen mit dem Endoskop nicht erreichbar, so daß gleichfalls die chirurgische Entfernung notwendig wird.
