Zusammenfassung

Die Radiotherapie ist eine der drei Säulen der Krebsbehandlung. Bei etwa 50% aller geheilten Patienten wurde eine Strahlentherapie vorgenommen, teils allein, teils als Kombinationstherapie. Ungefähr 70% der nicht mehr heilbaren Patienten erhalten eine Strahlenbehandlung aus palliativer Intention.
