Zusammenfassung
Die Rolle der endogenen Opiatneuropeptide bei Psychosen ist nach wie vor unklar [4, 11, 13, 16, 19]. Diese Neuropeptide werden mit dem Stimmungswechsel bei affektiven Psychosen [10, 17, 18] in Zusammenhang gebracht und bei der Entwicklung von Wahn und Halluzinationen bei Schizophrenen [3, 5] diskutiert. Erhöhte Konzentrationen von Endorphinen im Liquor, und nur dieser kommt zur Untersuchung des ZNS beim Menschen in Frage, wurden sowohl von manisch-depressiven Patienten in der manischen Phase [10, 17], als auch bei Schizophrenen [10,17] besonders im akuten Stadium [3] gefunden, während bei Chronisch-schizophrenen [3] und depressiven Patienten [15] eher erniedrigte Konzentrationen ermittelt wurden. Diese Befunde konnten nicht bestätigt werden [5].
