Abstract
The history of the cartels in the German electrical engineering industry has not yet been written, and it must be feared that many gaps caused by the wars and the cassation of historical documents can never be closed.
This is an extended version of a talk originally given on April 30, 1981 on the occasion of the First Symposium of the German Association of Electrical Engineers (VDE) and entitled “Electrical Engineering and its Many Changes”; it has now been provided with notes.
