Zusammenfassung

Die Lagerung des Patienten in sitzender Position für Eingriffe an der hinteren Schädelgrube und an der oberen Halswirbelsäule bietet unbestreitbare operationstechnische Vorteile. Diese kommen dem Wohlergehen des Patienten dann zugute, wenn der Anästhesist in Narkoseführung und Überwachungsmaßnahmen sich der Nachteile dieses Verfahrens annimmt (Tabelle 1).
