Zusammenfassung
Ziel der chirurgischen Behandlung von Gelenkfortsatzfrakturen des Unterkiefers ist die funktionsstabile Osteosynthese. Sie erlaubt eine unmittelbar postoperativ einsetzende Übungsbehandlung und schafft deshalb beste Voraussetzungen für eine Restitutio ad integrum, d.h. die exakte Wiederherstellung der anatomischen Ausgangssituation und der vollen Bewegungsfunktion des Unterkiefers.
