Zusammenfassung

Das Pankreas (Länge 15–25 cm, Gewicht 70–150 g)3a liegt zwischen Milz und Duodenalschlinge und besteht aus dem Kopf (Caput pancreatis), dem Körper (Corpus pancreatis) und dem Schwanz (Cauda pancreatis). Der vordere Kopfbereich wird von Peritoneum bedeckt, das übrige Pankreas liegt retroperitoneal. Daher können krankhafte Prozesse des Pankreas ohne weiteres auf das Retroperitoneum übergreifen.
