Abstract
Many complications associated with regional anesthesia are described. In order to put them into perspective, it is convenient to classify them into complications due to the pharmalogic agents used and those resulting from the particular technique. Within this classification, one can separate the sequalae into minor and major groups, depending on their seriousness for the patient.
