Abstract

Phloem as a whole has again been the subject of symposia (SLEIGH and JENNINGS 1974, ARONOFF et al. 1975, ZIMMERMANN and MILBURN 1975, ESCHRICH and LORENZEN 1980) and monographs (CANNY 1973, PEEL 1974, KURSANOV 1976). Reviews specifically referring to structural aspects are by SRIVASTAVA (1975), PARTHASARATHY (1975), EVERT (1977, 1982), and CRONSHAW (1974, 1981).
