Für die Tumorchirurgie an der Ohrmuschel gelten drei Behandlungsziele.

Die Sanierung des Krankheitsprozesses durch die vollständige Malignomentfernung und, falls erforderlich, der regionalen Lymphknotengruppen.

2.
Die Funktionserhaltung der Ohrmuschel als Schalleintrittspforte sowie als Stütze für die Brille.

3.
Die Wiederherstellung dieser für den Gesamteindruck des Gesichtes wichtigen ästhetischen Einheit.
