Nach dem heutigen hochentwickelten Stand plastisch-rekonstruktiver Operationsverfahren werden an eine moderne Tumorchirurgie im Gesichtsbereich folgende Anforderungen gestellt:

    Die tumoradäquate Radikalität und

    die optimale Rekonstruktion eines operativ entstandenen Defektes unter Berücksichtigung aller funktionellen sowie ästhetischen Gesichtspunkte [7].
