Zusammenfassung

Maligne Geschwülste einer Zungengrundstruma sind relativ selten; in der Literatur wurden ca. 20 Fälle beschrieben [2, 7]. Etwa 1/3 der Patienten weist zum Zeitpunkt der Diagnose oder während des Verlaufes Fernmetastasen auf. Bei fast allen Patienten wurde primär ein chirurgisches Vorgehen gewählt, mit anschließender externer Strahlentherapie sowie Radiojodtherapie (Abb. 11.1).
