Referat
Dargestellt werden die Inhalte des Diplom-Aufbaustudiengangs Informationswissenschaft mit den Schwerpunkten Informationsvermittlung und Informationsmanagement an der Universität Konstanz. Sie werden abgeleitet aus den erwarteten Tätigkeitsfeldern Informationsvermittlung und Informationsmanagement. Berücksichtigt werden auch die Überlegungen zum erforderlichen Praxis- und Informatikanteil, zum Umfang der Pflichtveranstaltungen, zum notwendigen Fachwissen aus einem Primärstudiengang und zur Differenzierung in die zwei Schwerpunkte. Schließlich wird kurz auf die Arbeitsmarktperspektiven der Studiengangabsolventen eingegangen.
Abstract
The post-graduate study programme of information science with the emphasis on information brokering and information management is presented. The contents are derived from expected professional needs in the area of information brokering and management. The balance of necessary practical knowledge and that of computer science are discussed, along with the scope of compulsory classes and knowledge to be aquired within the first degree studies and a distinction between the two main fields of emphasis. Finally, job perspectives for the graduates are discussed.
