Abstract

In the last ten years it has become possible to treat more complicated cases by increasing use of microneurosurgical techniques. In spite of this fact we still find many severe complications after posterior fossa operations especially after manipulations close to the brain stem. To detect the brain stem lesion directly brain stem auditory evoked potentials (BAEP) are measured during and after operation.
