Zusammenfassung
Die Häufigkeit viszeraler Störungen bei Diabetikern hat das Interesse an der autonomen Neuropathie geweckt. In den Übersichtsarbeiten der letzten Jahre wurden Störungen des Gastrointestinaltrakts, des Urogenitalsystems und des Herz-Kreislauf-Systems der viszeralen Neuropathie des Diabetikers angelastet (Bischoff 1976; Campell 1976; Clarke et al. 1979; Thomas u. Eliasson 1975). Die Wertigkeit des einzelnen klinischen Symptoms (z. B. der Diarrhöe oder der Impotenz) für die Diagnose „diabetische viszerale Neuropathie“ ist allerdings umstritten.
