Zusammenfassung
In der Behandlung exzessiver essentieller Hyperhidrosis axillaris Fälle hat das lokale dermatochirurgische Vorgehen als effizienteste und risikoärmste „ultima ratio“ einen festen Platz eingenommen. Im vorliegenden Referat werden Indikationsabwägungen und Ergebnisse der operativen Therapie, wie sie an der Dermatologischen Klinik des Universitätsspitals Zürich/Schweiz gehandhabt wird, vorgestellt. Sowohl anhand der Nachuntersuchung von 52 eigenen Patienten als auch anhand der relevanten Literatur werden mögliche Komplikationen demonstriert. Geringfügige Komplikationen sind relativ häufig, ernsthafte Komplikationen bleiben Einzelereignisse und sind stets reversibel oder funktionell korrigierbar.
