Zusammenfassung
Dieser Beitrag beginnt mit der Beschreibung der gegenwärtigen Forschungsschwerpunkte, die am Lehrstuhl für Prozeßrechentechnik (Prof. Rembold) der Universität Karlsruhe im Zusammenhang mit der Entwicklung von Industrierobotern durchgeführt werden. Er endet mit einem Abriß über die geplanten Entwicklungsschritte in Richtung von autonomen Robotern.
Jetzige Aktivitäten, die bezüglich der Verbesserung der Fähigkeiten von Industrierobotern zur Sprache kommen, sind: Entwicklung von höheren Roboter-Programmiersprachen, Simulationstechniken, Sensorentwicklungen und Maschinelles Sehen. Die zukünftigen Projekte werden sich mit der adaptiven Steuerung von Industrierobotern, mit der dreidimensionalen Modellierung und ihre Integration in CAD-Systeme, mit der Montageplanung und mit innovativen Rechnerarchitekturen befassen.
