Zusammenfassung

Aufbau und Eigenschaften des Systems ISAR (Intelligent Search, Analysis, and Retrieval) werden beschrieben und anhand von Dialogbeispielen illustriert. Eswird erläutert, wie inhaltlich gezielte deutschsprachige Anfragen über gespeicherte Datenbestände unterschiedlichen Inhalts vom Benutzer gestellt und vom System analysiert und beantwortet werden können. Besonders wird auf den linguistischen Prozessor von ISAR eingegangen, der über Fähigkeiten zur automatischen Korrektur von Tipfehlern, zur Behandlung einfacher elliptischer und anaphorischer Äußerungen, zur Eingabe neuer Fakten und Definitionen sowie zur interaktiven Ergänzung des Lexikons und zur Analyse von Sätzen, die unbekannte Wörter enthalten, verfügt.
