Abstract

Any attempt to review the radiologic aspects of giant cell tumors is plagued by two problems. One is the confusion among pathologists as to what actually is a giant cell tumor, and the other is the fact that giant cell tumors are rare. This results in a variety of statistics relating to bone sites, age and sex incidences, relation to other conditions, and aggressiveness of the tumor.
