Abstract

Ablative surgery has historically been the preeminent treatment of the majority of the musculoskeletal sarcomas. However, in recent years, early diagnosis, better surgical techniques, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy have improved the prognosis of these tumors and emphasized the practicality of conservative and reconstructive surgical techniques.
