Abstract

Dr Schiffers addresses the problem of attaining globally defined goals through a formalized structure for attaining locally defined goals. This structure is formed through constraints of and influences between the parts of the systems, and the system moves towards an attainment of globally defined goals through inducements by local restrictions or inputs. Formally, this structure is said to be a realistic description of a distributed system, and it is an implementation of the systems approach developed by Wedde which is known as Interaction Systems.
