Abstract
Long-term pressure measurement requires a totally implantable sensor to avoid risk of infection. Although various sensors using radio-telemetry techniques have been developed (1–4, 7), none of them is entirely satisfactory because of excessive zero drift or temperature sensitivity, and none of them hat yet been commercialized for common use. In order to meet the need for a more reliable trans-sensor, we have developed a new totally implantable trans-sensor (5, 6).
