Abstract
Different problems connected with the kinetics of elementary processes in plasmas (level populations, line intensities, ionization equilibrium, etc.) require knowledge of the rate coefficients of these processes. In this chapter, we evaluate the rate coefficients for the following processes: electron-impact excitation and ionization, photorecombination, dielectronic recombination and charge-transfer. Theoretical calculations are tabulated and compared with experimental data.
