  • Conference paper
Traumatology of the Skull Base

Abstract

Several series of orbital fractures have been published (Reny and Stricker, 1969; Hötte, 1970; Jabaley et al. 1975; Sacks and Friedland, 1979; Menés et al. 1980), but most large series treat facial fractures in general (Hueston and Cook, 1956; McCoy et al. 1962; Schultz, 1967; Schultz, 1970; Gwyn et al. 1971; Mainous et al. 1974; Luce et al. 1979). We therefore think that our series of 589 patients with 750 fractured orbits is large enough to be of interest.
