Zusammenfassung

Aus einer pathologisch-anatomischen Studie von Noltenius et al. [109] an 2385 Sektionen Hochbetagter (70–112 Jahre) geht hervor, daß im Senium die vital limitierenden Veränderungen im wesentlichen Erkrankungen des Gehirns, des Herzens und der Lunge sind und daß die Veränderungen des Gastrointestinaltrakts untergeordnete Bedeutung haben.
