Zusammenfassung
Bei Verdacht auf eine tödliche Intoxikation gibt die postmortale Analyse von Serum- und Gewebsproben auf Digitalisglykoside Aufschluß über eine Vergiftung. Insbesondere ist bei älteren Patienten eine tödlich verlaufende Digitalisintoxikation ohne den direkten postmortalen Nachweis im Herzmuskel und Serum nur schwer zu eruieren, da ein großer Teil der Vergiftungen unter der Diagnose „Herz-Kreislaufversagen“ unbekannt bleibt.
