Summary

For capital budgeting problems with risky investments the usefulness of replacing stochastic cash-flow data by risk-adjusted certainty equivalents in order to find optimal production and investment programs is investigated. For single- and multi-stage problems it turns out that risk adjustment procedures lead to good approximations of the chance/risk-efficient programs.
