Zusammenfassung

Am Beispiel der bösartigen Magentumoren soll versucht werden, den interdisziplinären Ansatz der Therapie und Nachsorge darzustellen. Die Prognose des Magenkarzinoms hat sich trotz Optimierung der Operations- und Strahlentechniken und gewisser Fortschritte der Chemotherapie in den letzten Jahrzehnten leider nicht wesentlich gebessert. Sie hängt vom Tumorstadium (Abb. 3 u. 4) und vor allem von der Radikalität des operativen Eingriffs ab.
