Zusammenfassung

Die folgenden Überlegungen gelten dem Einfluß einer Einführung positiver und konstanter Auswanderungsquoten auf die Gleichgewichtswachstumsrate und die Gleichgewichtswerte der Lohn- und Zinssätze zweier Länder, die nicht durch Güter- und Kapitaltransaktionen verbunden sind. In beiden Ländern werden homogene Arbeits- und Kapitalbestände im Rahmen der Produktion von Gütern eingesetzt, deren Eigenschaften hier unerörtert bleiben. Der Bestand an Arbeitseinheiten wächst in Land I mit der konstanten Rate n1, in Land II mit der konstanten Rate n2, und beide natürliche Wachstumsraten stimmen aufgrund unterschiedlicher Serien von altersspezifischen Geburten- und Sterberaten nicht überein. Die Wachstumsrate des Kapitalbestandes sei in jedem der beiden Länder durch eine klassische (oder, was in formaler Hinsicht auf das gleiche hinausläuft, durch eine Pasinetti-) Sparfunktion bestimmt: Die Wachstumsrate des Kapitalstocks ist gleich dem Produkt aus Zinssatz und Sparquote der Zinsempfänger. Die Sparquoten s1 und s2 der Zinsempfänger beider Länder haben, so die Annahme, eine unterschiedliche Höhe. Realer Lohn- und Zinssatz seien durch eine für beide Länder gleiche Lohn-Zins-Grenze w (r) verknüpft, die als Ausdruck einer neoklassischen Produktionsfunktion genommen werden kann, aber nicht muß. Lohn- und Zinssatz seien in beiden Ländern nur dann konstant, wenn die Wachstumsraten von Arbeits- und Kapitalbestand, von Arbeitskräfte- und Arbeitsplätzezahl übereinstimmen.
