Zusammenfassung

Die lumbale Sympathektomie war die erste Operation, die zur Behandlung von Vasospasmen der unteren Extremität durchgeführt wurde, und zwar 1923 von Royle [19] in Australien. Ob sie aber auch die letzte zur Erhaltung der unteren Extremität im Falle einer extremen Ischämie sein wird, steht zur Diskussion.
