On Queueing Theory and Two-Dimensional Queueing Models

  • Chapter
Messung, Modellierung und Bewertung von Rechensystemen

Part of the book series: Informatik-Fachberichte ((INFORMATIK,volume 61))

Abstract

Queueing Theory is very briefly reviewed in its aspect as a discipline applied in engineering design. The second part of the lecture is on recent developments in the mathematical analysis of basic queueing models with a two-dimensional state space.
