Zusammenfassung

Ein wichtiger Lehrgegenstand der allgemeinen Chirurgie und der allgemeinen Pathologie ist die Wundheilung, welche dementsprechend in jedem Lehrbuch berücksichtigt ist. Fälschlicherweise wird dabei nicht genügend herausgestellt, daß die Wundheilung nichts anderes als der Ablauf einer Entzündung ist. Die Wundheilung wäre daher unter dem Oberbegriff der Entzündung abzuhandeln, ihr kommt keine Sonderstellung neben der Entzündung zu.
