Zusammenfassung

Die postoperative Überwachung und Behandlung nach Eingriffen am offenen Herzen hat sich in den letzten Jahren zu einem wesentlichen und wissenschaftlich fundierten Bestandteil der Herzchirurgie entwickelt. Zahlreiche hervorragende Handbücher befassen sich allein mit diesem Thema [2, 11, 23]. Wir werden in diesem Kapitel unsere wichtigsten Grundsätze bei der postoperativen Überwachung und Therapie besprechen. Außerdem werden die häufigsten Komplikationen und ihre therapeutischen Richtlinien behandelt.
