Zusammenfassung
Im Lauf der letzten Jahre kam es zur Einführung und Weiterentwicklung neuer Operationsmethoden auf dem Gebiet der Leber- und Gallenchirurgie; sie werden heute bei elektiven Eingriffen, bei Verlegung der oberen Gallenwege und bei solitären metastatischen Veränderungen der Leber angewandt. Darüberhinaus kann man versuchen, mit diesen Methoden definitive Eingriffe bei der Behandlung von Primärtumoren der Leber und von Geschwulstbildungen an den Gallenwegen vorzunehmen.
