Zusammenfassung
FORCASD ist ein portables Simulationspaket, das Modellbildung und Simulation mit Auswertungsnetzen unterstützt. Als Besonderheit wird zum Modellentwurf ein preisgünstiger graphischer Bildschirm benutzt. Das Modell wird mit einem Lichtgriffel interaktiv als Auswertungsnetz am Schirm entworfen. Diese graphische Darstellung wird automatisch in ein FORTRAN Programm übersetzt, das die Struktur des Auswertungsnetzes beschreibt und einen wesentlichen Teil des Simulationsprogramms bildet.
Summary
FORCASD is a portable simulation package that supports modelling and simulation by evaluation nets. As a special feature, a low-cost graphic display can be used for model definition by drawing an appropriate evaluation net interactively on the screen. The graphical image is automatically converted into a FORTRAN program that represents the structure of the evaluation net and forms the essential part of the simulation program.
