Zusammenfassung

Jeder unklare Lungenbefund, akut oder chronisch, kann ungeachtet der klinischen Symptome und ohne besondere Charakteristik seines Zustandekommens durch Pilze hervorgerufen werden (Wegmann 1956). Infektionskrankheiten durch Pilze werden Mykosen genannt, wenn der wachsende Pilz Verursacher der krankhaften Veränderungen ist. Davon abzugrenzen sind andere Krankheitserscheinungen, bei welchen Pilze zwar ursächlich, jedoch nicht als infektiöses Agens beteiligt sind, wie z.B. Myzetismus (Pilzvergiftung) oder Mykotoxikosen (Vergiftung von Lebensmitteln durch Pilztoxine). Auch die mykogenen Al-lergien werden nicht zu den Mykosen im engeren Sinne gerechnet (Emmons et al. 1945; Loeffler und Emmons 1969).
